If you love or intrigued by the Peranakan culture and Nyonya Food, you have to come to Penang—a UNESCO World Heritage site and a cradle for thriving Peranakan and Baba-Nyonya culture.

Born and raised in a Peranakan or Straits Chinese family, I have always wanted to share the beauty and legacy of the colorful and uniquely special Penang Nyonya culture and food with the world. I am very happy to announce that my family has expanded our Penang private tour services to include a special “Penang Peranakan Culture and Nyonya Food Tour” for travelers, tourists, and foodies who wish to gain an insider insight into Nyonya culture, cuisine, and traditions in Penang….

We offer one-of-a-kind Peranakan culture and Nyonya food tour that covers Peranakan museums, a glimpse of the living Nyonya culture, sampling of mouthwatering and scrumptious Nyonya food, and more. We also have access to private collectors of Nyonya antiques and artifacts that will take you down the memory lane of the bygone eras.

Our guide is very friendly, multi-lingual, attentive, and knowledgeable. If you are interested in joining our Penang Nyonya tour, please send an email to penangprivatetour@gmail.com to inquire further.

We look forward to being a friend to you in Penang! See you.

LOL, totally unrelated. It’s a poster that I shot at the Pinang Peranakan Mansion in Penang. :)

Loved the snapshot of the kitchen; reminded me of the old South Indian kitchens! Drooling over the tiffin-carriers arranged on top!

I know, I don’t see those tiffin carriers that much anymore.

My grandma was born in Penang and I am familiar with Penang food because she used to make Penang food for us. Those photos of Penang food makes me droolllll!!! I would love to take the tour your family offers. What’s the best way to get in touch with them?
